2019 Year 6 Transition Program - Enrolment Interviews

As part of your child’s transition into Year 7, we will be conducting individual interviews with parents/carers and students to determine their learning needs.  Parents and students are invited to make an appointment for their interview by calling the High School and requesting an enrolment interview.   It is important that both you and your student attend this interview together.  We have attached the numerous questions you will be asked during this interview.  Could you please fill these questions out at home and bring the answer sheets with you for your interview. 

We encourage all parents to make an appointment so that we can discuss your child’s education.   Appointments for interviews can be made by calling the High School on 6732 1322 and requesting an enrolment interview. They will be conducted at the High School.  Please report to the front office at the time of your interview.

Interview times will be held on school days between 9:00am and 3:00pm from: Wednesday 16 October 2019 to Tuesday 29 October (inclusive).

Interviews will go for 30 minutes only. During the interview you will speak with Transition Coordinator Mrs Nicole Schafer and Year Advisor(s) who will go through the enrolment forms and parent/student questionnaire (attached).

The interview is a very important aspect of coming to High School, as it will ensure that your student settles into High School quickly. As part of the interview their enrolment forms will be reviewed and you will need to bring original documents with you.  Please see the checklist on the next page of this letter which tells you what documents you must bring to the interview.

If you are unable to organise an interview to fit into these times, please ring the school so that other arrangements can be made for your interview.  We look forward to meeting and speaking with you and your child in the near future.
