Mrs Maxwell (Teacher Librarian) assists students with resource location and selection, web searching, task presentation, printing,  photocopying, photography, viewing, listening, recreational reading and technological solutions.

Students come to the library in class or small groups or individually in their free time. Activities the students engage in include:

  • researching a set task through print media and internet
  • working on PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Publisher projects
  • studying for a test or exam
  • reading for pleasure, including listening to audio-books
  • printing, scanning, photocopying, laminating
  • playing board games
  • viewing a ClickView digital video program
  • working on a GATs project
  • preparing for a debate
  • assembling projects or preparing displays
  • borrowing resources
  • catching up on missed exams or assessments
  • Distance Education access and study
  • Senior area for lone or group study

 

NSW Premiers Reading Challenge:  

The NSW  Premiers Reading Challenge offers a wonderful opportunity to students. Students need to register on line and record their achievements. The Library offers assistance with meeting the requirements for the challenge.
