Information for Students and Parents
Have you ever worried about your child's safety online? Or what you can do to help them use the internet effectively? Digital citizenship is a program that is part of the Digital Education Revolution NSW, which teaches students about this and much more.
The program contains lessons on aspects of digital citizenship and a Mystery Matters interactive game on social networking for students. It also includes resources for parents on digital citizenship and how they can support children at home. There are also links to relevant videos and online resources to support positive digital citizenship which are of interest to anyone.
Students will learn about: staying safe and healthy while using digital technologies; appropriate and inappropriate online behaviour; and being a positive contributor in an online world.
